Are there membership fees?
No. There are no fees to join. 1106 International Athletics Club is powered by the hard work of our dedicated volunteers.
Who covers the cost of athletes' travel?
Athletes are responsible for the cost of their own travel and competition entry fees. Travel grants may become available in the future.
Does 1106 provide insurance?
No. Athletes are responsible for their own health insurance. Travel insurance is recommended for international competitions.
Do I have to be in the U.S. to join?
No. We work with athletes in other countries.
Do I need to be a member of the athletics/track and field governing body?
Yes. You must be a member of the governing body in your home country. You must be a member of USA Track & Field to compete in the U.S. and to represent Team USA at international competitions. Sign up HERE. Let us know if you need help.
